BUDBURST WINE AND FOOD FESTIVAL 2010 CELLAR DOOR WEEKEND

Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November 10am – 5 pm daily

The Budburst Wine and Food Festival celebrates the beginning of a new vintage at its source; at the vineyard and winery. The 20th annual Budburst Wine and Food Festival in the Macedon Ranges

presents a unique opportunity for wine lovers to taste new releases.

MEET THE WINEMAKERS, SHARE THEIR PASSION

Thirty wineries across the region, mostly small and all family operated, will open their cellar doors or cluster together to offer wine tastings of spectacular ‘limited edition’, cool-climate wines. Take the opportunity to talk to the people who grow the grapes and make the

wine. Our cellar doors, some rarely open, are a mix of old world character and rustic charm. The winery settings offer amazing views,

heritage buildings, magnificent gardens, sheltered courtyards and more.

CELEBRATE WITH FOOD, WINE AND MUSICWine, food and music are natural partners, so expect the best at Budburst. Food is available at most locations – pizzas, oysters,

tasting platters, BBQ’s, gourmet fare and desserts, with a focus on regional produce. There is entertainment too. Check the details in

this guide and on the Budburst website.

TICKETSTasting glasses are available throughout the weekend at all

participating wineries. For $12.50 your glass purchase is your ticket to tastings at all cellar doors.
