ASDA’S MONTHLY PREVIEW OF UPCOMING EVENTS FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 2015

On March 24, OU ASDA hosted our second-annual spring Dental Olympics. Teams were formed by each class, and this year the faculty formed a team ready to face the students! Challenges ranged from Triad sculpting and non-dominant hand crown preparation to a rubber dam application relay and maxillary impression. The winning team earned a breakfast or lunch for their entire class. A huge thank you goes out to all of the participants, and congratulations to the DS3 team on their victory!

Dust off those golf clubs and get ready for the ASDA Open Wide/Senior Molar Open golf tournament! This event will begin at 8 AM on May 2nd at Silverhorn Golf Club. The tournament will be played as a four-person scramble with a shotgun start. Students interested in participating should form three-person teams; the fourth member of the team will be a sponsoring representative. Additional team members will be assigned to students who wish to play, but do not have a full team. Raffle prizes and winning team prizes will include golf clubs, rounds of golf and more. There will be additional

opportunit ies to win prizes in t h e l o n g e s t drive, closest to pin, and hole-in-one contests. L u n c h i s included with t o u r n a m e n t entry fee. All proceeds will go to The First T e e o f

Oklahoma City. Additional information about the tournament will be sent out in the next few weeks.
