Creative and innovative dishes prepared fresh from local ingredients for you and your guests, making your day memorable for all the right reasons.

Broxmouth Park’s passion for food made the task of simplifying our menu lists almost impossible. What we have tried to do is offer as broad a range of dishes as possible, but by no means are these the limits to our capabilities, we don’t have any. As we create each and every dish from scratch we are able to tailor our menu to suit your particular budget and tastes, as well as develop new dishes. Vegetarian and allergy specifi c dishes can be created to meet requirements.

Our wedding packages provide the option for you to design your own menu, with two choices for starter, main and desert. Sample menus are shown below, though the options are up to you.

We can help plan your perfect wedding reception with our classically trained Executive Chef Team.

BROXMOUTH PARK ~ A HISTORY

With original period features, antique furnishings

and sumptuous fabrics, Broxmouth Park’s

atmosphere is one of relaxed refi nement.

It’s stunning gardens, parkland, surrounding

woodlands and lake cover an area of 60 hectares

(150 acres).

Whatever the occasion, Broxmouth Park is

the ideal location for weddings, private family

gatherings, special celebrations, out-door pursuits,

golf days and corporate events.

Broxmouth House was designed by James Nisbet

of Kelso as a dower house for the 3rd Duke of

Roxburghe in 1775.

The original Broxmouth site was acquired by the

Roxburghes in 1644 and was used as a second

home by the family for many years.

The house is close to the historic site of the Battle

of Dunbar, the last battle between England and

Scotland, which took place in September 1650.

Cromwell’s Mount, from where Oliver Cromwell

commanded the battle, is situated in the gardens.

Anne Innes-Ker, Duchess of Roxburghe (1854–

1923) was Sir Winston Churchill’s aunt and the

the last Roxburghe family member to live at

Broxmouth House. Her son, Henry Innes-Ker, the

8th Duke of Roxburghe, was born here in 1876.
