Job DescriptionJob title Test ManagerTeam ITBand PermanentReporting to IT DirectorManagement responsibility Responsible for managing the Test team leading the testing and release initiativesLocation London/SheffieldPurpose of the jobThe person appointed will be part of the IT Team responsible for collaborating with Change team, 3rd party IT providers, Business teams and internal IT Support teams in executing the end to end testing strategy, providing assurance of 3rd party test plans, schedules, scripts; test reports; coordinating releases, reporting the health of functional and non-functional system tests; define and oversee the implementation of the automation strategy

Main dutiesLeading the production of an end to end Test strategy and System Release. Responsible for working with third party suppliers to define the testing approach and the delivery of all testing phases across the test lifecycle. Summary Responsibilities:

Definition of end to end test strategy across stakeholders and third-party providers. Develop and maintain testing project plan and Test schedules. Produce test scripts and test execution. Develop automation capability for testing Chair cross test-phase update sessions as the test lifecycle progresses. Entry and exit criteria management, with particular focus on testing pre-requisites to ensure smooth phase transitions. Oversee defect management process including maintaining defect log, challenging where appropriate to ensure stated

scope is adhered to. UAT Support and Coordination: Own the complete UAT of the new solution. This will include leading the Test workstream

in scripting of User Acceptance Test cases and coordination with all the relevant stakeholders. Lead the Release process, impact assessing changes where required. Plan and coordinate software releases to various Test environments working with the relevant IT teams Compile and present status reports to the Project and escalate as situation demands RAIDD Management: ensure risks, issues, dependences and assumptions are identified, raised with Project/Application

Manager and actively manage risks/issues relating to the end to end testing workstream. Management Information and Communication: ensure that stakeholders and third party suppliers are engaged in all

testing activity and ensure that comprehensive MI is in place across all testing phases to support effective decision making.

Knowledge and experience End to End test lifecycle experience including V-model testing Defect Management experience Experience of working with Application Life Management or test management tools Experience of managing and working with stakeholders and external third-party suppliers. Experience of working on complex data driven systems

An understanding of Financial Services is desirable
