Job Description Job title Senior Technical Manager Team IT Band 5 Reporting to IT Director Management responsibility N/A Purpose of the job To manage the delivery of Office 365 migration programme which is central to the bank’s IT strategy. Main duties Working with the external and internal technical teams, this role will provide technical management support to deliver the following projects: Migrate Live and Archive emails to Office 365 cloud platform Migrate personal and business share files to OneDrive Rollout Skype for Business integrating audio, video and messaging solutions Security solutions including SSO, ADFS, 2FA and remote access relevant to Office 365 implementation Active Directory consolidation across multiple domains Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution using InTune Azure Information Protection and DRM implementation Implementation of the approved architecture, rollout of the solution in agreed phases and finally ensuring adequate operations handover Knowledge and experience Office 365 migration expertise Office 365 solution architecture involving Skype for Business, Azure Active Directory, ADFS, OneDrive, SharePoint, Online Exchange etc. Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Environment (VDI), Mobile infrastructure such as MDM and On-prem infrastructure Microsoft licensing Working with multiple external IT vendors to execute projects Awareness of modern Cloud and virtual computing trends Internal and external stakeholders IT Director IT Team External Office 365 delivery partner IT managed services providers Change, Procurement, Legal and Finance teams Key competencies/behaviours Ability to work with senior stakeholders with differing priorities, to gain consensus for complex technical decisions; Evidence of successful collaboration with external stakeholders, business stakeholders, user community and delivery functions in previous roles; Proven ability to influence in order to gain approval for creative, innovative and alternative solutions to meet business need; Ability to influence and facilitate different stakeholders; Delivery orientated individual that can proactively plan their own and other key stakeholder’s time to achieve key programme milestones Qualifications MCSA or MCSE Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture Prince 2 Is this a regulated role?
