Treći godišnji samit „Razvoj javno-privatnog partnerstva u Srbiji po modelu Velike Britanije",organizovali su 8. novembra u hotelu Hajat NALED, USAID i Ambasada Velike Britanije uz podršku Hipo Alpe Adria banke. Britanija je jedna od prvih zemalja koja je počela da primenjuje JPP i jedna od najuspešnijih tako da su njihovi eksperti na konkretnim primerima prikazali mogućnosti, prednosti i mane tog modela ulaganja. Mnogi projekti u različitim oblastima realizovani su pod njegovim vođstvom, uključujući izgradnju komercijalnih i industrijskih objekata, maloprodajnih i tržnih centara, poslovnih i proizvodnih centara, zgrada sa kancelarijskim prostorom, medicinskih centara, skladišta, kao i renoviranje i unapređenje stanova i poboljšanje ulične infrastrukture. Ima osnovnu i master diplomu iz oblasti građevine i niskogradnje.

Over the past two decades more than 1400 PPP deals were signed in theEuropean Union, representing an estimated capital value of approximately€260 billion.

For a number of years, developed market economies have been usingvarious forms of public-private partnerships with the aim of achieving moreefficient and effective management in public services provision. Today,partnering is the new governance and it continues to evolve particularly toaddress new trust environments due to social/economic changes.

Governments worldwide due to budget gaps are increasingly adopting PPPmodels as a mean to deliver infrastructure services and projects.

Step Free Access for London Underground

As part of Transport for London's €12 bn five yearinvestment programme, London Underground (LU) isimplementing capacity enhancement and step-freeaccess works to various stations. The programme willprovide essential access improvement for mobilityimpaired users and will improve quality of access forall users.

London Underground is delivering this programme through various routeswhich include using existing PPP providers such as Tube Lines as well asspecialist suppliers from the external market.

Tube lines Station Modernisation & Enhancement ProgrammeThe overall project is part of the first phase to refurbish the undergroundsystem following the implementation of PPP through Tube Linesconsisting of the upgrade of the 100 stations on the Jubilee, Northernand Piccadilly lines over the next 7 years. It is then intended to revisit allthe stations 4 times over the next 30 years. All the works will beundertaken without closing any of the stations.

Liverpool University

Following Mace's appointment as external projectmanager on the Sydney Jones Library RefurbishmentProject in March 2005, the University of Liverpoolappointed Mace to act as an internal client projectmanager on two office

and laboratory refurbishment projects for thechemistry department.

The Hertfordshire Country Council Project

The € 30 m scheme will provide ten new buildings: five new children’shomes, two adolescent resource centres, a disability resource centre, afamily assessment unit and an enhanced children’s centre. In addition,five family centres will be refurbished.
