Blueberry Hill Inn Trail Map
National Recreation Area Vermont Conserving the land. Preserving the spirit
For outdoor enthusiasts of all levels and for all seasons, Vermont’s Moosalamoo National Recreation Area is a treasure in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest. Providing more than 70 miles of well-maintained trails — traversing rugged cliffs and gentle slopes — the 16,000 acre recreation area provides many opportuni-ties for hiking, mountain biking, XC ski-ing, snowshoeing, horseback riding, wild-life & bird watching, and more.
Take in the spectacular scenery with ex-pansive mountain vistas, hardwood and softwood forests, waterfalls, and secluded lakes and streams. Enjoy wilderness soli-tude or retrace the footsteps of Robert Frost while visiting his last summer home and enjoying his poems along the mile-long Robert Frost Interpretive Trail.
The region stretches from the western slopes of the Green Mountains, where the Long Trail is located, east to Lake Dun-more, and from Scenic Vermont Route 125 in the north to Route 73 in the south.
