ST. STANISLAUS RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Religious Education Registration 2016-2017
The parish Religious Education Office is registering
students for the 2016-2017 season. Registration forms have
been mailed to the parents of all the children who
participated in the program during the 2015-2016 season.
Please fill out the forms and return them to the office by
August 15, 2016.
Registration forms for all new students are available
in the parish office.
First Day of Class
All Religious Education classes for grades one
through ten will begin on Saturday, September 10th.
Classes will take place from 9:00 to 10:15 AM.
Parent Meetings
Parents with children in grade nine [The Confirmation
Program] will meet with Father Anthony on August 27th from
9:00 to 10:15 AM in the school. At least one parent is to
attend this meeting with their child.
Parents with children in grades one through eight will
meet with Father Anthony on September 24th from 9:00 to
10:15 AM in the school. At least one parent is to attend
this meeting.
Teachers’ Meeting
A meeting for all teachers, teachers’ aides and
volunteers with the Religious Education Program will take
place on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 9:00 to Noon.
Please plan on attending.

MÓJ BLIŹNI "Piekło to inni". To zdanie Jeana-Paula Sartre'a ukazuje
jego relacje, a właściwie ich brak, z drugim człowiekiem,
rozumianym jako wróg. Jezus ukazuje inne spojrzenie. Nie
mówi o nim "inny", lecz nazywa go bliźnim. On wskazuje na
miłość bliźniego jako doskonały sposób wypełnienia Prawa i
drogę do nieba. Jako przykład widzimy Samarytanina, który jak
ojciec miłosierny wzruszył się głęboko na wpół żywym bliźnim.
On nie miłował słowem i językiem, lecz czynem. Obecność
"innego" jest konieczna. To dzięki niemu okazuje się
miłosierdzie, a miłość do Boga wyraża się w konkretnych
uczynkach. Staje się ona prawdziwa, a nie pozostaje jedynie na
poziomie abstrakcji. Tylko tak można osiągnąć życie wieczne.
"Niebo to bliźni"!
Jezu, nie chcę wymieniać Bożych przykazań, ale
prawdziwie nimi żyć. Ty ulitowałeś się nade mną i
opatrzyłeś rany grzechu. Objęty Twą miłością idę do
swoich bliźnich i czynię podobnie.

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS
Married couples observing their 25th, 50th, 60th and other special wedding anniversaries are invited and encouraged to attend the Anniversary Sunday Mass on Sunday, October 16th at 2 P.M. in St. Joseph’s Cathedral.
VINCENTIAN BICENTENNIAL
Journey of Faith: The History of Vincentians in the United
States On July 26, 1816, Felix De Andreis, C.M. and twelve other
missionaries landed in Baltimore, Maryland. Bound for St. Louis,
Missouri, the brave missionaries faced many perils to bring the Word of
God to the people living on the frontier. The Congregation of the
Mission (the Vincentians), the priests who serve this parish, have a long
history of serving the needs of the Church in America. In honor of the
200th Anniversary, a short documentary has been produced. You can

PARISH PICNIC
We would like to let you know that our annual Parish
Picnic/Harvest Festival will be held at PNA Park, 171 N. Plains
Rd., Wallingford, CT., 06492 on Sunday, September 18, 2016
from 1 P.M. till 8 P.M. The event will include delicious Polish-
American food, music by the Dennis Polisky Polka Band from
1-5 PM, and by a DJ from 5:30-8 PM. There will be a Parish
Raffle at the Picnic. The tickets are a bargain $2.00 each or
$40.00 a book of 20 Raffle Tickets. The Picnic gives us the
opportunity to raise funds for the Parish. Have a great time,
enjoying the Polish-American music and Polish and American
food throughout the afternoon. We look forward to seeing you
there! I ask each member of the parish to support this parish
event by buying the raffle tickets or selling them to your
relatives, friends or co-workers. Return whatever tickets you
don’t sell along with your check and the stubs of those that are
purchased. For certain, the Parish Picnic is not only an
opportunity to enjoy ourselves with good food and games, but it
provides an opportunity to get to know each other better as well
as to strengthen our Parish Community. We cordially invite you
