DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY.

Wake up around noon and realize I’m not in a tour coach. Open the curtains and see that I’m in Spain. Everything else follows.

Magnatone Amplifiers, and the reason is contained in just one word: vibrato.

Induction of ZZ Top into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Runner up is being named Texas State Musician — it’s like being named the official flower, but you get to jam more.

Music, cars, art... not necessarily in that order.

IS IT EVER OK TO LIE?

Only if it enhances the entertainment value of the conversation.

ERA FOR MUSIC: The mid-1950s when Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Jimmy Reed and a cat named Elvis were rising fast. FICTIONAL CHARACTER: Mr.

His facial hair may be almost as recognizable as

the songs and guitar riffs he’s famous for. Billy

Gibbons, the guitarist for the legendary Texas blues

rock band ZZ Top is regarded as one of America’s

finest blues guitarists. Before he helped found “that

little Ol’ band from Texas,” Gibbons was with

the band Sidewalks. But in 1969, he joined forces

with Frank Beard and Dusty Hill to form ZZ Top.

They continue to be a pillar in the blues world after

almost 45 years. In addition to being the band’s

guitarist, Gibbons is the lead singer and composer

for many of the band’s iconic songs. His style takes

its influence from such legendary greats as Muddy

Waters and B.B. King as well as British blues

rockers who made up the rock generation before

ZZ Top rose to fame.

Toad from The Wind In The Willows. ATHLETE: Don “The Snake” Prudhomme. DRINK: Pura Vida tequila ... neat. CURSE WORD: ¡Cabron!

LEAST FAVORITE…

PHRASE: “At the end of the day” ... especially when it’s spoken at the literal end of the day. WILD ANIMAL: Charging rhino. RESPONSIBILITY: Filling out forms. PAINTER: Adolph Hitler.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN CLINICAL TERMS.

Bearded stick figure with six stringed appendage affixed to the shoulder and hand.

WHAT IS LOVE?
