1. Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of six districts of Karnataka i.e.(Belgaum, Bidar, Gulbarga, Koppal, Raichur and Yadgir) at Belgaum, Karnataka (venue to beintimated later) for the period from 01 February to 31 March 2021 (exact dates of the Rally will beconfirmed later as per COVID-19 pandemic situation). Online registration is mandatory and will beopen from 05 December 2020 to 18 January 2021. Admit cards for the rally will be generated oneweek prior to the rally date. Candidates will be able to download them through their login ID onwww.joinindianarmy.nic.in website. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time asmentioned in the Admit Card.

Physical Measurement (At Rally Site)

Physical measurements will be carried out as per thePhysical standards listed at Para 2 above.

Medical Test

(a) As laid down medical standards at the Rally site.(b) Unfit candidates will be referred to MH/ CH/ BH forspecialist review. Candidates referred for specialistreview should present themselves to the nominatedMH/ CH/ BH within 14 days of the referral and reportback to ARO for issue of Admit Card for CEE, in casedeclared FIT.

Written Test through Common EntranceExamination (CEE)

(a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates atnominated venue, Location, Date and time of writtentest will be intimated at rally site and through AdmitCards.

(b) Admit card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidateswill be issued at Rally Site itself.

(c) Admit card for the CEE for the Review Fit caseswill be issued after getting medically fit by concernedspecialist/ specialists at MH/ CH/ BH.

4. Candidates are required to bring following documents / certificates in original with two attestedphotocopies with them to the rally site :-

(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).

(b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colour photographs developedon good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months old.Computer printouts / photoshopped photographs will NOT be accepted.(c) Education Certificates.

(i) Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educational qualificationsachieved by candidate i.e. Matric / Intermediate / Graduation etc from recognisedSchool / College / Board / University.

(ii) Provisional/ online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the headof the educational institution of concerned Board/ University.

(iii) Candidates with metric certificate from Open School should bring School LeavingCertificate countersigned by BEO/ DEO.

(d) Domicile Certificate. Domicile Certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar / DistrictMagistrate.

(e) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph (Maharashtra State doesnot issue with photograph) of the candidate issued by Tehsildar / District Magistrate.

(f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar / SDM (if religion as“SIKH / HINDU / MUSLIM / CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste certificate).

(g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the School/College Principal / Headmaster, where the candidate last studied.

(h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph issued by VillageSarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six months.

(j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of agewith photograph issued by Village Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six months.

(k) Relationship Certificate. SOS / SOEX / SOW / SOWW Candidates are required toproduce the following documents :-

(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly signed byRecord Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and particular of Records Officerissuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/ stamp is endorsed.

(ii) A declaration to the affect as mentioned in the Affidavit on Ten Rupees NonJudicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1st Class / Executive / JudicialMagistrate / Notary is required to be submitted by the candidate at the rally site. Formatof affidavit attached as per Appendix ‘B’.

(iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Serviceman also to be produced. Name and dateof birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.

(l) NCC Certificate.

(i) NCC A / B / C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate should havephotograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. ProvisionalNCC A / B / C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concernedNCC Group Commanders.

(ii) “Candidates who are holder of NCC ‘C’ certificate and have participated inAnnual Republic Day Parade camp at Delhi and issued RDC certificate will be treatedat par with those candidates who have participated in Republic Day Contingent Paradeat Delhi”.

(m) Sports Certificate (Validity Period for Sports Certificates is Last Two Years).

(i) Sportsmen who have represented India at International level and state atNational level within the last two years, for list of sports under which, relaxation inphysical standards is admissible, attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.inwebsite.

6. Special Instructions.

(a) NCC Certificates.

(i) NCC ‘C’ certificates - Sol GD & Tradesman candidatesare exempted from CEE.

(ii) NCC ‘C’ certificates and - CEE exempted for all candidatesparticipated in Republic Day Parade. except Sepoy Pharma.

7. Administration. Candidates are advised to bring sufficient eatables and drinking water withthem since recruitment is a time consuming process.

8. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card,COVID-19 free/ asymptomatic certificate (format attached as per Appendix ‘D’) and No RiskCertificate (format attached as per Appendix ‘E’). Asymptomatic certificate should have beenissued within 48 hours prior to the rally reporting day. Anyone found with fake admit card /certificates will be handed over to Civil Police.

9. All candidates will be thermally screened at the rally site. Candidate having temperature /showing symptoms will be directed to report again on a designated day earmarked at rally sitefor all such cases. If the candidate is again having symptoms, he will not be allowed toparticipate in the rally.

10. All candidates will be in possession of face masks and gloves.

11. Recruitment into the Army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay bribe toanyone for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. Selection process during recruitment atall stages is computerised and transparent. Therefore, candidates are advised to be beware oftouts as they cannot help them at any stage.

12. Candidates are advised to check their age and education criteria before participating in the rally.Candidates found under age/ overage and not meeting education criteria will be disqualified.

13. Giving / Taking bribe, production of bogus/ fake certificates and indulging in unfair means is acriminal offence and liable for punishment under law.

14. Certificates with overwriting, tampering of seals or erasing/ alteration of any type will not beaccepted.

15. All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agencies beforeenrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting fake documents.Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are found to have produced fakedocuments or gave wrong information at the time of recruitment, despite the number of years of serviceindividual may have rendered.

16. No compensation for Death/ Injury/ Loss etc during the rally and no travelling allowance/dearness allowance for journey is admissible. Candidates will participate in the rally at their own riskand the participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The signing of Indemnity Bond is a mandatoryrequirement.

17. Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs. Use of any kind of performance enhancing drugs isstrictly banned. Candidates having been found to have used the same will be debarred from furtherscreening.

18. Tattoo. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. frominside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/ back (dorsal) side of hand.Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will bebarred from further selection.

19. If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and despatch, medical will bedone again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited.

20. Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates are despatched fortraining.

21. Mobile phones are not permitted in the rally site and at the time of CEE.

22. Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam before coming forselection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical measurements. Allare advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned by a doctor prior to therally.

23. Candidates may have to present themselves at rally site for three to four days. Candidatesshould make arrangements for stay under their own arrangements.

24. Negative marking would be applicable in CEE.

25. Result of written examination will be declared on the official website www.joinindianrmy.nic.in.No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is responsibility of candidate to check his result andreport to ARO for documentation.

26. Relaxation Documents to be Produced for Availing Bonus Marks During RecruitmentRally. Candidates who are availing concession of bonus marks will be considered for relaxation ofbonus marks only if they produce in original / provisional certificates at the recruitment rally site.No certificate will be accepted after the termination of rally.

27. Only one ward of SOS / SOEX / SOW / SOWW can avail bonus marks in written examination.

28. Relaxation and bonus marks will be permissible and allotted only on production and depositionof original certificate at the rally site. In case of certificate not being verified on time, bonus marks willnot be allotted and the responsibility will not rest with the recruitment / Army authorities.

29. Maximum bonus marks that can be given is 20 marks even if a candidate qualifyfor more than one type of bonus marks.
