DESCRIPTION
BETA Machinery inherited the legacy and continues the tradition of the historical Officina Meccanica Beta Spa in the field of finishing machinery for textile and nonwoven fabrics. Established in 1959 in Busto Arsizio, Italy, BETA distinguished itself in the design and production of high quality foulards / padders and calenders. In more than 55 years, over 2.000 machines have been built and sold all around the world. At the end of 2010 a new important partner, Comerio Ercole Spa, joined the company. BETA Machinery srl inherited the legacy and continues the tradition of the historical Officina Meccanica Beta in the field of finishing machin-ery for textile and non-woven fabrics. Beta established in 1959 and since then distin-guished itself in the design and production of high quality padders and calenders. In more than 50 years, over 2000 machines have been built and sold all around the world.
All BETA machines are equipped with the Beta-Roll®, an exclusive patented system whose principle is based on a very simple mechanical system. This patent underwent further modifications and improvements in order to allow its use for Calender’s rolls too. Infact, in 2002 a new patent was released, which assures the maximum uniformity for both the calendering pressure and the temperature of the roll’s surface.
The Beta-Roll® is now produced in two main versions, one for padders and one for calenders, and can be used with working widths up to six metres. The Beta-Roll® is parallel ground and allows to reach great working pressures (linear pressure up to 100 N/mm for padders and 300 N/mm for calenders) with no deflection along the whole roll’s working surface and at all working pressures between zero and the maximum value.
BETA Machinery supplies finishing machinery for textile and non-woven fabrics and its range of products includes: padders (2-roll, 3-roll, differentiated 3-roll), calenders (2-roll, 3-roll, differentiated 3-roll), thermobonding machines and self-cleaning filters.
All Beta machines are produced in “Safety Category 4”, the maximum available, and comply with all European directives and regulations about safety of machinery.
BETA Machinery, in the logic of "Customer Satisfaction", has recently created a new company trade-mark identified as "BETA Quality Proof". The trade-mark states a wide range of technical features, product quality, authenticity of spare parts and ability in customer's service.
By applying a serial-coded tag and giving a certificate with this trade-mark for every original BETA spare part, BETA Machinery guarantees to the customers important product requirements and assures a greater transparency in the supply.
