Best Looking LubeFirst Place: Fast Eddys, Meridian, Idaho

Te earth tones and consistenttheme throughout made Havolinexpress lube o Meridian, Idaho, theBest Looking Lube or 2012.

Te colors and oors were a big hitwith our panel o judges.

I love the consistent themethroughout with the tile ooring andbrown and orange colors, one judgenoted.

One judge couldnt get enough othis shop.

o me, this shop has a lot to oerwith clean bays and comortable look-ing chairs in the waiting room. Its justbeautiul.

Te unique architectural design wasa hit, as well.

I love the dierent levels on the out-side o the building, one judge comment-ed. It looks very abstract and interesting;not your typical lube shop.

Another judge was blown away with thelook as a whole.

Te tile through-out and the look o thebays and waiting arealooks more like an o-ce building than a lubeshop. It exudes proes-sionalism, which is niceto see. I would denitelytake my own car to thisshop.

Te size o this shopthrilled another judge.

Tis is a huge com-plex and looks like ashopping mall instead oa lube center, and tile inthe bays? Very chic.

Second Place: Valvoline Express Care, Pleasantville, New Jersey

Tis Valvoline Express Care located inPleasantville, New Jersey, wowed our judg-es with its unique design, impressive wait-ing area and spotless bays.

Te ront o the store is immaculate,one judge noted. I like the peculiar archi-tecture, and bright, naturally-lit waitingarea.

Another judge thought the waiting area

was very inviting and comortable.

I love the skylights, because all o thenatural light makes the waiting area lookeven bigger than it would already seem,had it been completely closed in. Tis wait-ing area would make me eel very comort-able and at ease as a customer. Not to men-tion all o the amenities this shop provides.I can shop while I wait or my car to beserviced, or read a book in the cozy sit-

ting area.

Several judges agreed that the landscap-ing was very eye appealing.Te owers surrounding the building

were very nice to look at and would encour-age me to pull my car in or an oil change,one judge noted.

Third Place Tie: Kwik Kar, Fort Worth, Texas

Tis exas-themed lube center thrilled the judges with its interesting rustictouches.I love the exas stars on the chairs and exterior o the shop, one judge

commented. Overall it looks like an old-timey hitching post o some sort,which intrigues me. Te bathroom door is a antastic touch!

Another judge thought this shop had some neat intricacies, as well.Te tin siding goes really well with the overall theme, and the brands on

the walls really complement the overall look.Te judges also appreciated the convenient

access to the shop rom the highway, as well asthe nice, clean bays.

Tis shop looks like it is located right nextto the highway, making it convenient or cus-tomers to pull in, one judge said. I also like thebranding o the shop. Im sure this really reso-nates well with its exan customers.

Te kid-riendly area and resh owers in the lobby helped this Kwik Kar rom FortWorth, exas tie or third place. Te judges elt right at home when gazing upon thephotos.

I could just go in and sit with a good book and a nice cup o coee without hav-ing my car serviced, one judge noted. It looks to be a comortable lobby to spendthe afernoon in and my kids could be occupied, too!

Another judge loved the stone on the exterior.Te stone on the outside o the shop is very eye appealing.

I love the open win-dows in the waiting areawhere you can watch Vand your car being ser-

viced at the same time,one judge said. Poshdoesnt look like a typicallube shop, which may drawin more customers.

Te bright colors caughtthe eye o many o our

judges.I love the color scheme,

one judge noted. Its verypleasing to the eyes andgives o an edgy, proes-sional, unique vibe.

Tis Oil Can Henrys charm helped garnerit votes. Te cabin-looking exterior and

woodsy eel was comorting to ourjudges.

Tis shop just lookslike a place you wouldwant to call home. I love

the welcoming and in-viting exterior, one judgecommented.

Another judge agreed.Tis shop looks like a

quaint little shop that wouldbe delightul to spend timein. It certainly draws me in,

as Im sure it does customers.Another judge loved the

logo and color scheme.Te bright orange logo looks

great against the maroon andstone background. Not neces-

sarily colors you would think gotogether, but denitely works or

them and is readable to drivers onthe road.
