The album is called Monkey Business. The colour scheme to the album digipak is red and black which is eye catching and distinctive. The previous album was named ‘Elephunk’ so they continued with the animal based theme and it has that unique, fun feel to the album. It’s different to main other albums and once you hear ‘Monkey Business’ you don’t get confused with several possible albums, it has that distinctive feel to it so you know that it’s Black Eyed Peas. The image looks like a red carpet with patterns stitched into it. The 4 members of the band are on the front cover which once again attracts people to see the album. On the actual CD, there is a pattern which is similar to the front and back cover but the background colour is dark orange/gold as pose to the red coloured front cover. This adds contrast which also is good as it is exciting and different. The writing on the CD says Monkey business and the Black Eyed Peas. Also the record company’s logo is on it for advertising and to show ownership of the album.

The plate behind the CD itself, holds

an image of a monkey which fits along

with the Monkey Business name and

idea to the album. This is a striking

picture that stands out and is fun. Also

they’ve positioned it so it’s a surprise

and Shock to the listener when he

removes the CD.

On the back cover they have continued the whole carpet idea, as well as the red and black theme. On each and every side to the digipak, it has an image of a monkey to go along with the Monkey Business title of the Album.
