Across America Week! The Library
and Bookmobile will be represented at
the Middlesboro Mall on Saturday,
March 2nd from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
You never know who you might
see at “Read Across America” in
the Mall. Last year, Miss Piddle
and Miss Megan had their picture
taken with The Cat in the Hat!
Dr. Seuss Week at Lone Jack Elementary School
Both Ms. Erica and Ms. Megan visited the school and
read a Dr. Seuss book to the Kindergarten Class (left)
and the First Grade Class (right)!

The Friends of the
Middlesboro Public
Library (FOML) are now
accepting donations of
gently used costume jewelry,
scarves, and accessorizing items for their upcoming
April 5-6 fundraising event. If you have any items to
donate, please bring them to the Middlesboro library.
This fundraising event will support the Youth Summer
Reading Programs. FOML members heard, in a
presentation by Youth Services Librarian, Megan
Jeffrey, of the exciting space-themed plans and events
for this summer's programs. Thanks for your help!

March 2, 2019 - “Read Across America” at the Middlesboro Mall
On Feb. 4th the Middlesboro Sr. Citizens Center decorated heart-
shaped picture frames and had a variety of Valentine activity
worksheets for their Valentine Program.
An adult coloring contest was held at Horizon Adult Health Care
on February 20th.
Snowflake and Snowman decorations were made by clients at Just
Family Adult Daycare Center on February 26.
