The system you are about to try out offers you the ability to manage assets over multiple locations, track work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, maintain spare part inventory levels, and ultimately access and customize any of our 150+ reports to make better management decisions. The best way to get a good understanding of our system is to have one of our representatives walk through a live web demonstration; however we also welcome you to access the demonstration and try it out yourself. If, after you have tried it yourself, you would like a live walk through, please contact our sales department at (888) 567-3434. Here are a few steps to navigate through some of the basic functionality of the system: How to Log In 1. Navigate to http://www.maintenanceconnection.com 2. Click the “LOG IN” button 3. Enter the Member ID and Password supplied by Maintenance Connection when you requested a demo. If you do not have a demo login, you can create one by clicking the “Want to Request Info” link at the bottom of the Login Page. 4. After you enter your login information, you will be presented with a menu to view one of our four role-specific applications. For this tutorial, select Maintenance, Repair & Operation Work Center.

How to Log In

1. Navigate to http://www.maintenanceconnection.com 2. Click the “LOG IN” button 3. Enter the Member ID and Password supplied by Maintenance Connection when you

Accessing the Open Menu and Module List

1. In order to get a good sense of what Maintenance Connection offers, click on the Open menu on the tool bar.

2. Each one of these sections is different modules within the system.

Open the Asset/Location Hierarchy

1. Click on the Assets Module to open the hierarchical view of locations and equipment.

Navigate Through the Asset Module

1. Click on the Assets Module to open the hierarchical view of locations and equipment. 2. Use the icon to expand the tree and view locations and equipment within each section. 3. Click on an asset to view its details on the right. Notice the key fields for asset

number/ID, serial number, model, warranty and a photo of the asset. You can find more asset details by clicking on Page 2 at the bottom of the page.

4. Click on the ‘PMs / Tasks’ tab to view the PM schedule for the selected asset.

5. Click on the ‘History’ tab to view all work orders which have been created and/or closed

for the selected asset.

Navigate Through the Work Order Module

1. Click on the Open Menu and select Work Orders. 2. All Open Work Orders will be displayed on the left. To view one of these work orders,

simply click on it and the details will display on the right. 3. Click on the ‘New Assignment’ button to assign the work order to an available labor

resource.

4. Simply select the labor resource from the tabs listed on the assignment screen, click a

day and click apply to assign the work order to an individual. 5. Feel free to drag and drop work orders from one day to another to create availability for

any of the selected labor resources.

Access / Create Reports in the Reporter

1. Click on the Reports button from the toolbar 2. Double-click any report from the list of 150+ system reports and view the results
