Your library will have these on the shelf just awaiting you to take home and love. I finally made a promise to myself to do the plan, after being lazy about it for a little while. Get a massage once a week, and I had to go in 3 times weekly for 6 weeks. It did cost money, but not nearly as much as operation would cost. After I was done my back felt like a cloud! It was amazing. My back was no longer in pain. I no longer felt like my muscles were a couple of little rubber bands. I'm so happy I made the right choice! Ultimately, (and before another distressing night) a herniated back needs to be dealt with quickly because living with back pain is not acceptable. It's simply unbearable! However, for some, the treatment measures seem just as horrible. The "S" word is especially frightening. Patients who go in for open back surgery take a long time to recuperate. So why not treat back pain with a considerably less painful and soothing treatment instead of a treatment that makes the pain worse before it gets better? After he began having operations though his equilibrium and speech started to deteriorate. He began to fall. I would begin to receive calls that my dad was in the hospital. I'd then travel to help. This began to wear on me. I was working full time and needed to get time off in order to take good care of of him. I was falling more often and really could see he was getting worse. He would have nothing of it although I tried to talk about living somewhere where he could get some care like an assisted living facility to him. "I can live by myself" he would say to me.

Not Following Though With Your Treatment: It is amazing to me how many back sufferers usually donot finish their treatment. They make the error of not completing their rehab or not after their rehabis completed continuing their exercise plan. I'm a big believer in taking preventive measures wheremy well-being is concerned.
