BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN MANAGEMENT

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in management at Sam Houston State University is designed to prepare students for positions and careers requiring leadership and managerial skills. By showing you how to move theories from the classroom into practice in the workplace, we can help you take your career to the next level.

Many of our graduates find entry-level, middle, and top management positions such as general managers, operations analysts, supervisors, project managers, inventory controllers, office managers, and supply chain specialists. Our students are also very well prepared to continue their educational goals through graduate school.

REQUIREMENTSManagement students must maintain at least a 2.0 in their SHSU, cumulative, and business grade point average and earn a “C” or better in all management courses taken. At least 50 percent of the required business curriculum for the BBA degree must be taken in residence at Sam Houston State University.

Minor: A minor is not required to complete this program. Students should be aware that a minor will add hours to the length of the degree program.
