The end of the spring semester is fast approaching!  With the warmer weather, and the finish line so closer, you may face some distractions. While your focus may slip a little, here are a few tips and tricks to finish thesemester strong:  Set Goals. Keep track of any deadlines that are approaching for your classes, internship, clinical, etc. It isimportant to submit all assignments in a timely fashion and allow yourself to prioritize any papers andprojects that you need to work on. Need help setting goals and tracking your assignments? Take advantage of aplanner or your Outlook Calendar! Organize Your Notes. Have a binder full of notes from all your classes that are not organized? Try to organizeyour notes (& thoughts) by using separate notebooks, binder tabs and even dip into your creative side by usingheaders and color coding! Start Assignments Early. Did you receive a syllabus at the beginning of the semester which outlines all of yourassignments and deadlines? If you answered yes to that question, utilize it to get a head start on some work soyou have more time to study for finals. Check with your professor to confirm all of the assignments you needto complete in the coming weeks - the less time spent crunching in 10 things in at once, will allow you morefocused time to study and work more efficiently.  Take Advantage of Resources. You don't need to tackle the end of the semester alone - there are a number ofdifferent resources available to all students at the college! Work with your classmates to join/form a studygroup, set up a meeting with your teacher to review your notes, or take advantage of the resources providedby the Library. The BSC Library provides students with quiet study space, study rooms to reserve, or access tothe Center for Learning and Academic Success (CLAS) to meet with a tutor. Take A Beak, or Two. Taking a break is a great way to clear one’s head after a long study session.  Doingphysical activities like walking, biking, and running will help you refocus. Outdoor activities not for you? Findan activity that helps you relax before diving back into studying. Some of our favorite activities is coloring, cross word puzzles, and making a study playlist! Don't forget to check the Spring 2019 Final Exams Schedule that is now on the website!
