Klaus Grohe, son of the Hansgrohe founder, has always been driven by an irrepressible curiosity about and passion for water. He is particularly impressed with the pure energy of a vortex. He wondered how this miracle of nature could possibly be brought into the home and incorporated into the wash basin, and so he began developing a vortex in a mixer.In designer Philippe Starck, Klaus Grohe and Axor discovered a partner capable of illustrating the power of nature in the form of an organic and sculptural glass mixer.
