Dear Fawzi,
Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to host you and thanks also for your interesting talk at our department on Tuesday. One must really give credit to IEEE and ComSoc for the DLT concept, and the opportunity to bring such great lectures and speakers close(r) to members world-wide.
I also enjoyed the dinner evening we had very much.
I hope we'll have a chance to do it again sometime - in Croatia, US, or anywhere our paths cross again.
Best Regards, Maja

Several technologies are converging empowering IoT and delivering a greater impact and advance services to multiple markets by 2020’s. This Keynote will introduce the concept of IoT and architectural evolution from a pre-IoT to Collaborative IoT impacting many markets such as home, health, automotive, enterprise, transportation and infrastructure. This will be enriched by several examples.
Solution building blocks include sensing/wearables, aggregation/gateway, cloud/data analytics/services.
Will conclude with some of the factors to deliver scalable solutions, better quality of services and experience. Takeaway points: • Understanding of the rapid evolution of IoT and other realted technologies. • Emerging of ecosystem cloud based address the root cause and not the symptoms. • 2020’s impact and considerations for scalable and secure networks.
