conducted by Faculty and Students
of both MBA & MCA. Large number
of students from other colleges
participated in various events and
s h a r e d t h e i r k n o w l e d g e a n d
experiences, thus making it a huge
success.
Dear Students,
Welcome to April Edition of Aurora Gazette.
The month of April witnessed the most happening event in the history
of Aurora Post Graduate College, Moosarambagh – ABHIVYAKTHI –
2K18, A State level Tech Management Fest, a business conclave,
which attracted students from various colleges, who participated in
various formal and informal events and showcased their talents and
building good relations among the students of various institutions.
The college Alumni meet was conducted where alumnus of the
college participated in huge number and shared their experiences
and guidelines for the present batch.
It is really heartwarming to put together these expositions. We feel
glad to acknowledge to kind support and encouragement of all those
who contributed directly or indirectly to bring Newsletter out.
Finally we wish to encourage more contributions to ensure a
continued success of the newsletter.
We also welcome comments and suggestions that would improve the

Maharshi Thatikonda MCA 2nd year 2nd Semester student developed TechTonic
game for the Management Fest .TechTonic is a visual game developed under
the guidelines of Ms. Arpitha HOD MCA, faculty members Ms. Vijaya Sree andMr.
Ram Prasad . The Game has two levels.
1st Level Blast and Reveal:
The Player has to shoot balloon by clicking the mouse, each balloon
carries clocks (Logos) inside them, The player's target is to reveal 12 clocks
within 90 seconds.
2nd Level Memory Matching.
In this level the players have identifies the images inside the
rectangles.There are two images are randomly placed in somewhere else, the
player has to identify the position of two images at same time. They are able to
see only one image at one time by clicking the mouse on it another will closed
by a cover page.
Used Technologies: JavaFX(Game) , Core java and MySql Database.
Modules: Player Environment (Game), Leading Board and registration module.

As part of Social responsibility, the NSS Team of our college under the
guidance of Mr. Bhadra Rao, NSS Coordinator, participated in a rally thwith respect to “Justice for Asifa “on 20 April, 2018.
ABHIVYAKTI- 2K18
The Aurora P.G. College Moosarambagh, Hyderabad has organized State level Tech
rd thManagement Fest named “Abhivyakti” on 3 and 4 April 2018. Nearly 3,000 students
from several colleges in the city of Hyderabad have participated in this fest.
These two days of Fest had given opportunities to many students to showcase their
hidden talentby participating in 26 events which included both Management and
Cultural activities.

Invitation to different colleges went through the 'Flash Mob' performed by
selected students. This method was appreciated by various colleges and
alsogave a good impression which attracted their students. The students
performed on many songs and showcased their talent by dancing and
became the center of attraction.
Food and game stalls were setup by the students of Aurora's PG College,
Moosarambagh which have not only given the opportunity of developing
various ideas, but also gave them the experience of 'Live Market' to them.
The fest started off with inauguration ceremony in the presence of designated
guests. The guest for the inaugurations were-

At the Valedictory Function, trophies and certificates were given to the winners
and runners up. The Guests congratulated the College Management, Staff and
all the Student Coordinators for the 'Grand Success' of the Management Fest.
Feedback was taken by the guests and the students in a very different and
attractive form. The students of the Aurora's P.G College, Moosarambagh had
created a 'FEEDBACK TREE' for the collection of the feedback from the Guests
and the participating students of the different colleges. Great feedback was
received for all the events of the fest and also for good management. The
Students were very happy and satisfied as it was a great learning experience for
them. They had a great time and valuable memories to cherish for a lifetime.

thThe Annual Alumni Meet of the College was organized on 7 April 2018 in which
as many as 150 alumni of the college came and shared their views on careers,
placements and gave suggestions to the existing students on cracking
interviews. Alumnus shared information about their journey from college to
corporate. The Coordinator of the Meet, Ms. Anjali welcomed the gathering and
the Director, Mr. Mohan Kumar stated that he felt happy to see such a vast
gathering that came back to their Alma Mater to be together once again. The
Director, Dr. B. Mohan Kumar, HOD-MBA, Mr. G.N. Satish Kumar released the
Alumni Newsletter- AINA that comprised of reminiscences by alumni members
about their current employment, the college, faculty members and their college
life and latest articles about college and corporate life
