They start with a short, visible gap from the

Hidden lines shall consist of short dashes,evenly spaced. These lines are used toshow the hidden features of a part. Theyshall always begin with a dash in contact

Readers in the UK and USA should beaware that a full stop or point is no longerrecommended as the decimal marker. TheISO recommended decimal marker is now
the comma. Thus, taking pi as an example, it should
now be written as 3,142 and not 3.142.
Thus, one million should be represented as1 000 000 and not 1,000,000.
