At  about  6:45  pm  of  August  19,  2003,  Noel  Villarante,  was  shot  dead  at  Santa  Cruz,  Laguna  just  outside  of  his  residence.  After  being  shot,  Villarante ran  inside  his  home.  As  his  relatives  helped  him  outside  to  get  to  a  hospital,  the  gunman  once  again  shot  Villarante,  causing  his  instantaneous  death.

At  around  6:30AM,  as  Fernando  Baldomero  was  about  to  bring  his  12  year-­‐old  son  to  school,  an  undidentified  man  approached  Baldomero  and  shot  him  dead  in  front  of  his  own  son  whom  he  tried  to  cover  and  protect.

At  around  4:30PM,  Pascual  Guevarra,  78  was  shot  by  an  unidentifed  gunman  in  front  of  his  family  members  as  he  was  repairing  their  kitchen  inside  their  house  in  Barangay  San  Isidro.  His  grandson,  Ronnel  Viloria,  18,  tried  to  help  his  grandfather  but  the  gunman  shot  and  wounded  him  also.  The  gunman  escaped  aboard  a  motorcycle  driven  by  another  man.
