The first thing my audience sees is the front cover of my magazine, therefore it has to make a big impression. The image of my artist is obviously very important to attracting my audience. The artist is representing my magazine for that month so they have to be well respected as they are the face of my magazine and I am backing them by putting them on the front cover. My audience will chose whether to buy my magazine on whether they like that artist alone. The colour scheme on my front cover is red, white, blue and gold. The red, white and blue represent the British flag to fit with the best of British theme, whilst the gold is showing the high standard of talent inn Britain as the colour gold has connotations on money and royalty. My language also attracts and appeals to my audience as it is very enthusiastic with exclamation marks and rhetorical questions which intrigues the reader and makes them want to know the answers.

Communicating with my audience is the trickier part as my target audience is so varied that it could be difficult to intrigue them all. But a common device used by most teenagers is the internet, so in my magazine I use emails and web details to appeal to their everyday life, as most teenagers use the internet daily. The language in my magazine is also very informal which again suits my audience as they are young and still in education, so they may not understand sophisticated worlds which means my fun and simple language appeals to them when they are just looking for an easy read away from their studies.
