SureCount Version 6.0 RELEASE NOTES July 2019

SureCount adds another level of estimating tools to ConEst’s Estimating and Project Management suites by providing easier takeoffs that are more efficient to manage and that reduce the amount of paper plans and the associated cost. SureCount has the added ability to assign Takeoff to Symbols and Measurements for direct takeoff into IntelliBid Phases and Sub-phases. The focus of SureCount version 6.0 is to extend a few of the basic features to do more for you while continuing to improve on the performance and reliability of the core functions.

Assign Phases Dialog Assigning phases to your drawings has been time-consuming, not to mention difficult, process. V6.0 brings back the Phase Tree format of IntelliBid for selecting Phases. This will speed up and simplify the process of setting the Phases for the Drawings.

Selecting the Phase for the drawing and symbol group now is a single click from the IntelliBid Phase tree.

Drawings Window The number of drawings for a job can easily become unmanageable especially in a drop-down list. The main SureCount screen is now formatted as a 3-pane window with the Drawings listed in their own section.

This window can be collapsed when not in use and retrieved with one click The selected drawing displayed is shown in red text Drawings with symbol counts in the selected Symbol Group are in bold text

Added the ability to Organize Drawings better project management As mentioned above, the number of drawings you handle on a job can become a difficult task. A new function called Drawing Tags that gives you the opportunity to organize the drawings under headings of your choice.

In this example, we are using the floors as the Tag IDs but you can choose any other designations that work for your business. Once the tags are assigned, you have 2 views of the drawings:

Detach Drawings for simultaneous views Drawings can be detached and moved onto other monitors or minimized but accessible from the taskbar so referencing information on other drawings is easier.

Find all drawings where a symbol has counts The Symbol Bar tells you the number of symbols on the current drawing and the total count for this symbol across all drawings, but it may not be easy to remember or find which drawings have the other counts. The function Show Drawings has been added to the Symbol Bar context menu to locate the other drawings where this symbol has been counted.

The drawings with counts for the Symbol D are grouped under a Tag ‘SYMBOL MATCH – D’ so you can easily refer to the work done on those drawings.

Additionally,

Backup files are stamped with date and time so multiple backups can be stored. The Highlight feature remembers the highlight selections for a drawing and uses those as the

default the next time the drawing is used. Symbols and shapes can be removed while working in the All Symbols Group by right-clicking on

the symbol the same as when in the actual Symbol Group. SureCount remembers the last job and symbol group you worked on when a new session is

launched.
