The Beasleys expect to arrive in Miami about August 16 for a short vacation. Miss Marietta Armbrister arrived from Nassau on July 17 by PA A and Is now house guest of her aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Cfeoper of 6928 NW 17th ave. Mrs. Newman Returns From Atlanta Mrs. Irene Newman of 1577 NW 70th st.. returned Saturday after two delightful weeks in Atlanta. Mrs. Newman is loud in her praise of the hospitality in the city. She visited many of the fine churches including her own St. Paul Episcopal church. Also colleges; Morehouse. Atlanta University, Spellman. B. T. Washington High School, the off ice of the Atlanta World and Stone Mountains. She was the dinner and lunch gueet of many well known Atlan- tans, namely: Mrs. Mary Lumpkins and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Store- ball, Mrs. May Shanks of Shank Beauty Salon, aunt of Miss Elmira Fannin of our city. Sightseeing was one of the many vacation enjoyments. Mrs. Newman Is still smiling and tolling of her j wonderful hostoaa. They are in accord with the traditional policy of The House of Seagram. For instance, in November 1946, coincidental with the lift- ing of price controls, The House of Seagram, publicly an- nounced “You can be sure Seagram is Holding the Line No Increases in Price.” The cooperation of the retailers was both complete and enthusiastic. What was true in November 1946 is equally true today. The retail prices of every Seagram brand made in the United States unchanged (except when and where additional taxes have been imposed).
