A now, an additional State Tax of 25 cents a gallon on all dis-
tilled spirits now prevails in the State of Florida. ,
The Seagram price to the wholesaler remains unchangedexcept for the addition of the exact amount of the tax 25cents a gallon. The Seagram wholesalers advise that theirprices to the retailer are also unchanged except for the addi-tion of the new State Tax.
Therefore, the retailers need only add to the prices ofSeagram’s V. 0., Seagram’s 7 Crown, Seagram’s AncientBottle Gin the amount of the tax. The new prices are listedbelow. They are in accord with the traditional policy of TheHouse of Seagram.
For instance, in November 1946, coincidental with the lift-ing of price controls, The House of Seagram, publicly an-nounced “You can be sure Seagram is Holding the Line NoIncreases in Price.” The cooperation of the retailers wasboth complete and enthusiastic.
What was true in November 1946 is equally true today. The retail prices of every Seagram brand made in the UnitedStates unchanged (except when and where additionaltaxes have been imposed).
The leadership of The House of Seagram proves the sound-ness of our policy. We are grateful for your patronage andhope that you will always continue to say Seagram’s and Be
Sure of Finer Whiskies at Fair Prices.
