Note that the colors are
blended throughout the
design.
25. ‘Vegas Lights” is the
title. Cultivar is
SCARAMOUCHE and the
exhibitor explains with a
card noting
“Spinning wheels keep
spinning at Las Vegas”.
40. A mass design titled
“Mary had a Little Lamb”
with the cultivars HUSH
LITTLE BABY and JOAN
SENIOR carrying out the
color imagery in the title.
44. A creative design reecting
movement that illuminates the
arrangement. Note the
presence of ribbons, which
eliminated this photo of the
entry from competition. The
title “I 792-A New Capital for
North Carolina”. Cultivar is
PERSIAN PEACH.
54. A line design titled “Gone
with the Wind”. Cultivar is
SIDEWALK BEAUTY. The
container helps carry out the
theme, however this
photograph of the entry was
disqualified because an award
is included.
59. A mass design entitled
“Enchanted Daylilies-Sandia”. The
perfect blend of colors and the
containers
relationship to the design was the
reason this was selected as the
show’s Tricolor winner.
62. A mass design, but the
ribbons in the photograph
disqualied this entry in the
national competition.
74. A line design titled “Hearts
Are”. The cultivar is a red
seedling with iris and
philodendron leaves.
