Aranyglóbusz 2019 Golden Globe 2019
This year’s Golden Globe Gala (the 76th one) was held on 6
January 2019. Golden Globe traditionally influences the outcome of
the Academy Awards. The event awarding American films, TV series
released in movie theatres or on TV in 2018 took place in
California, the Beverly Hilton Hotel, organised by the Hollywood
Foreign Press Association and the Dick Clark Productions. The
ceremony was hosted by Canadian actress Sandra Oh and U.S. comedian
Andy Samberg.
A new life achievement award was also awarded at the ceremony of
2019, named after actress Carol Burnett and giving recognition to
outstanding performance in TV productions. The new trophy was
awarded to Carol Burnett herself for the first time. The
85-year-old, seven-time Golden Globe winner comedienne – whose most
widely known variety show is The Carol Burnett Show broadcast by
the CBS – admitted in her welcome speech that the award “made her
childhood dreams come true”.
In this column we have collected together the dresses of the
fashion houses represented and the celebrities present at the
soiree.
This year’s awarded Lady Gaga was so in harmony with her
Valention Couture dress that she even dyed her hair blue to match
the dress’ colour. Julia Roberts wore a cool but, at the same time,
feminine dress. Everyone praised the creation designed by Stella
McCartney, which perfectly matched the actress’ eclectic style.
Nicole Kidman put on a very simple, but very decorative dress for
the ceremony. The actress wore a finely close-fitting, claret
evening dress by Michael Kors, decorated with paillettes. Anne
Hathaway stepped in front of the photographers in a striking and
dramatic dress. The silver and white, low-cut Elie Saab evening
dress with tail and translucent parts was a great surprise, because
previously she had always worn very discreet dresses on the red
carpet. Actress Charlize Theron had always worn a consolidated,
classic black and white Dior haute couture dress.
All in all, celebrities brought us magnificient dresses also
this year, and this year’s ceremony was full of surprises and
winners no one had ever expected before.

házigazdái Sand-ra Oh kanadai színésznő, valamint Andy Samberg
amerikai színész, humorista volt.
Az 2019-es díjátadón egy új életműdíjat is kiosztottak, melyet
Carol Burnett színésznőről neveztek el, és amellyel a televíziós
műfa-jokban nyújtott kiemelkedő munkát ismerik el. Első alkalommal
maga a névadó vehette át a vadonatúj trófeát. A 85 éves, hétszeres
Golden Globe-díjas komika, énekes és író – akinek legismertebb
mű-sora a CBS által sugárzott varietéműsor, a The Carol Burnett
Show –, köszöntőbeszédében elismerte, hogy e díjjal „gyermekkori
álmai vál-tak valóra”.

egyszerű, de annál sikkesebb ruhában volt látható a díjátadón. A
színésznő egy bordó alapszínű, finoman alakkövető Michael Kors
estélyit viselt, amit flitterekkel díszítettek. Anne Hathaway egy
feltűnő és drámai ruhában lépett a fotósok elé. Az ezüst-fehér
alapszínű, mélyen dekoltált, uszály-lyal és átlátszó részletekkel
kiegészített, Elie Saab estélyivel hatalmas meglepetést okozott,
mivel korábban mindig nagyon visszafogottan jelent meg a vörös
szőnyegen. Charlize Theron színésznő a letisztult-ságot hozta
klasszikus fekete-fehér Dior haute couture ruhájában.
Mindent összevetve az idén is pazar ruhákkal káprázattak el
min-ket a sztárok, és az idei átadó tele volt meglepetésekkel és
olyan befu-tókkal, akikre nem is számítottunk.
