If we can have Christmas in July Why not Thanksgiving in May?

We’re setting our sights on November, already. We like to have a good Thanksgiving food package to give to families who come in for food during that month. We have a really good start! But, we are needing canned pumpkin and stuffing. This might sound funny, but if we get a head start on it now, we hope to avoid buying cases of these items in the fall. We are also still needing some summer food items. We al-ways need soup and soap, and easy-to-fix meal items for the kids who are home from school. And remember, for every item or donation you make during the month of April, The Feinstein Founda-tion will provide some match-ing funds. It’s a great month to think about giving!

Canyon Lake Pavilion Coming!

Many Thanks to: WellsFargo, Canyon Lake Branch For their corporate sponsorship!

Thanking our Volunteers! April is Volunteer Month We couldn’t do what we do, at CRRC, without them!

The Dam Seniors have been working really hard

for the last several months in preparation of their booth

at Market Days. We have been making quilts, jewelry,

Texas state coasters, pillows, adult bibs and as always,

a lot of delicious home baked goods. Our booth is at

the end of the row near the stage, inside the rec. cen-

ter. Please look for us and check out all our goodies.

You are sure to find something wonderful and you will

be supporting the Senior Programs.

CRRC Dam Seniors Program Fun at the Rec!

Come join Kristi for Zumba…the commercials are right…it’s a great fun way to burn calories…age or size doesn’t matter…just move to the music! Maybe karate is for you…we have adults and chil-dren…call 964-3003 for more information. Pick-leball…this might be just the sport for you…cross between tennis and ping pong. Celtic dancing would get you moving! Hati’s Silver Sneaker class may just be the pace you are looking for. How about a class where you breath, stretch, and do yoga at the same time…hum…that sounds fun! Come on and give us a try…you will meet some of the nicest people here at the CRRC recreation center!!!
