The following amendments are hereby made an integral part of the Contract Documents for the above project, including all applicable sub-contractors affected.

Included attachments are as follows: Door and Frame Schedule Door Elevations – DD.1 and DD.2 Frame Elevations – FE.1 to FE.7 Sketches AD2.01 to AD2.13.

Indicate the receipt of this Addendum on the specified Tender Form as required.

2 Amendments

2.1 PROJECT MANUAL – SPECIFICATIONS

.1 Section 01021 Allowances

.1 Item 1.4.1 .1 At the end of the first sentence replace the ‘question mark’ symbol with a period. .2 Delete the following items from the list of allowance items:

painted gypsum walls and painted gypsum ceiling @ 2400 aff.

.5 Door and Screen Schedule .1 Delete the Door and Screen Schedule along with the Door and Frame Elevations. Replace with

attached Door and Frame Schedule along with attached Door and Frame Elevations. Door Elevations are numbered DD.1 and DD.2. Frame Elevations are numbered FE.1 to FE.7. Note on the Door and Frame Schedule all revisions this addendum are highlighted in yellow.

1. General Contractor is to confirm exact final height of new ceilings in Rooms N325 and N326 with the Consultant prior to ordering the Partition.

2. Should Door not be installed prior to Owner occupancy the General Contractor shall provide an acoustically insulated temporary partition similar to Partition Type ‘P3’ in lieu of the door until the door is able to be installed.

.3 Add General Notes – Door DD302 1. Provide sliding surface door hardware per Section 08710, Item 2.1.9.

.4 Add General Note – Doors DN325A and DM304A .1 Door manufacturer is to fully coordinate with the steel fabricator exact location of overhead

track layout, fastening requirements of the track to the steel framing and all hanging bolt locations.

AD2.04 is a typical detail for interference of new and existing mechanical and structural work in acoustically rated partitions that do not require a fire rating. AD2.05 are typical details for interference and penetrations at fire rated partitions in addition to those already on the sheet. All typical details as noted above within this addendum and as indicated on Sheet A0.05 pertain also to existing partitions. Provide all required work at existing partitions to meet the criteria of these details. Assume all existing partitions to remain are similar in construction to Partition Type ‘P3’ per Interior Partition Schedule Sheet A0.01.

Clarification – All details on Sheet A0.05 indicated on the Tender drawings pertain to the complete project both Existing Building and New Construction.

.1 Notes – Add the following notes: 10. Hand over existing drinking fountain to Owner for the purpose of reuse outside of this

work. Fountain is located in Corridor 325 approximately outside new Universal Washroom 325.
