The Ors. C. and F. Demuth Swiss Medical Research Foundation announces its se- cond yearly lntern, ational Award o f SFr. 15.000 for young inves/iga'ors in the Neurosciences.

For the 1983 award, applications are invited from scientists wor~:ing in th:~ fie'.d of Deveiopmcr.tal Neurobiology. Cat~didates from ail nationalities, not older thal~ 35 years, are asked to submit (i) their CV including a list of publications, (ii) a resum(~ of current and projected work (a .~ingle-sentcnce heading followed by two or three typewritten pages), (iii) reprints of their Three most important articles, and ~iv) names, addresses and telephor, e numbers of two referees acquainted with their work.

The jury consists of Professors G. Baumgartner (Zi,rich), J.J. Dreifuss (Geneva), #.. PlcBcher (Basel), and H. Van der Loos (Lausanne).
