Consequently, we may not share our faith or invite others to our faith gatherings as much as we could. Life –Way Research conducted a study that found the following: Despite a vast majority of Chrisans believing its their duty to share their faith and having the confidence to do so, 25 percent say they have shared their faith once or twice, and 14 percent have shared three or more mes over the last six months. Nearly 48 % of church aendees stated they have not invited anyone to church with them during that same six month period. I truly believe that the only way others will come to know Christ is through tangible relaonships with believers that lead to invitaons….NOT JUST invitaons to our high church services and benevolence ministriesBut invitaons to our dinner tables, small groups, family picnics, girls trips, fishing excursions, bike rides and impromptu lunches! Outreach is a maer of the heart which must involve us mimicking the behavior of our Savior who invited those who were not disciples (the unregenerate, broken women, tax collectors, poor, lame, the least of these!) to eat, fellowship and sit in His Presence. And…..THEY WERE CHANGED FOREVER! In the words of Gospel Singer Marvin WinansI pray that we will embrace a moo for outreach and witnessing that is as simple as, I heard joyful sound, Jesus saves, Jesus saves.
