An Evening in Geneva, Indiana

DESCRIPTION

My Grandmother gave me this handwritten manuscript that she believed was a short story written by my grandfather, Gerald Griffith, a claims agent for the railroad. As you'll see, it is a cross between a short story, journal entry and memo. This story/memo is the occasion for an essay I'm working on titled "The Barber of Peru" that reflects on my grandfather's lifelong desire to be an author.
