Requirements

• Good Academic Standing• 2.5 GPA

• Freshman, Sophomores or Transfers (with a minimum of 3 semesters remaining)

Hiring Process - Application

• Online application due: October 1st

• TCNJ FERPA Release form – must be completed and returned to Loser Hall 228 by October 1st

• 1 recommendation sent via Qualtrics form on Ambassador website by: November 1st

• Those without a complete recommendation sent via Qualtrics by 11/1/15 will be removed from consideration

• Must successfully pass discipline and GPA check

Hiring Process – First Interview

• 10/14 – 10/22

• 5 minute interview with 2 senior/junior Ambassadors

• Last year: ~230 people invited

Hiring Process – Final Interview

• 11/16 – 12/2

• 20 – 30 minute interview • 15 - 20 minutes of interview questions

• 5 - 10 minutes of mock tour questions

• Last year: 80 people

Hiring Process – New Class

• 35 Ambassadors

• Notified early January

• Contingent upon being able to attend/work all the events below:• Ambassador training (2/5/16 and 2/6/16)

• Accepted Students Day (4/9/2016)

• April Staff Meeting (TBD)

• April Open House (4/17/2016)

• Welcome Week (Late August 2016)*

• *Exceptions made for Bonners, CA’s and fall athletes

• Participate in the Overnight Hosting Program in Spring 2017
