Our primary goal of these groups is to provide a variety of ways for you to develop connections with others at Silver Creek.

You'll notice three types of groups:

Interest, Study, and Service.

Some groups happen every week, some every other week, others monthly, and some are

one time events.  You can sign up for multiple groups or just one group - your call.  We just hope that you will join a group that helps you establish great connections with others who attend Silver Creek.

Logistically, there are a couple of ways you can get started on your Connect Group journey:

- You can visit silvercreekfamily.org and find the link to registrations under the Connect Groups page.

- You can also pick up and fill out a registration card - available at the kiosk in the lobby.  Registration cards can also be left with the volunteer at the lobby kiosk or dropped in the offering bucket during service.

If you have questions about a specific group, please feel free to contact the listed group leader. They would love to tell you more about their group.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected]

We are so excited that you are considering being a part Connect Groups at Silver Creek!

int105God’s gardenSunday: Weekly 03/20 - 10/231-3pmLocation: Always changingLeader: Will Little [email protected]

This group is for: Men, Women, High School Students, Parents with kids

Description: Using the blessings God has given us to share His love and grace is both what we are called to do as servants, and also one of the many ways He builds our own lives and relationship with Him. We don't have to look far to see what He has given us, it is every single thing we posses, and all that we are as living souls in this life. Let us recognize the amazing garden we live in, that is "good for food, and pleasant to the eye" and grow gifts of food and beauty from our own little pieces of His garden, and use those gifts to love and bless those in our community. While doing so, we open the doors of communication to those who see what we are doing and want to know more about where our generous love comes from.

Cost/Supplies: Cost of this project will be determined by the level of financial investment you feel called to dedicate. There is no need of skill or tools, only a willingness to learn and love.

“I immediately felt welcomed and folks like Carter helped confirm that Silver Creek was a community that my family and I would love to be a part of. You

might ask what playing volleyball has to do with following Jesus? Shouldn't a legit connect group have more Bible study or something? I have been surprised at how character building it can be! It is one thing to

hear a great Sunday morning talk or read about being patient, kind, encouraging and another to do it

in the context of someone serving ten unanswered points in a row at your team or blocking your

otherwise monster spike. I often see Jesus in real, tangible ways through the encouragement and kindness that comes out of folks in competitive

situations when the default response would normally be the opposite. Yes, it is just rec volleyball but it is one of the highlights of my week. If you feel like you

haven't really connected, give a group a try.”

STUDYGROUPS

“The title of Women's Bible Study does not in any way encompass what this group is all about. It is

about women supporting each other, women learning from the Bible and each other, women taking time to share difficult times and women thanking God for all the good things that have

happened in our lives. We study the Bible under the excellent direction of Caralee Hudson but the

study is different than you may have ever experienced. The group is a largely diverse group

of people, some new Christians and some that have studied the Bible extensively. Each and every

person brings their own perspective and each point of view is valued. If you are looking for a

comfortable place to learn and grow as a Christian and as a woman, I would love to invite

you to join Sprint Through the Bible.”

SPRINT THROUGH THE BIBLE

stu101sprint through the bibleWednesday: Weekly 04/06 - 06/297-8:30pmLocation: Hudson HomeLeader: Caralee Hudson [email protected]

This group is for: Women, High School Students

Description: If you have ever wondered how all of the stories in the Bible fit together, Sprint Through the Bible can give you a great chronological overview. Even though we are about a third of the way through the series, it is still possible to jump in and see how God has been at work revealing Himself to His people and through His people, ultimately pointing the way to Jesus. When we meet, we read Scripture together and then break up into several small groups, which allows for everyone to have input on the discussion questions. Following that, we reconvene as a the larger group for further insights, discussion and wrap-up. About every third or fourth meeting we have a video that helps us pull together the information we have been learning in order to more fully understand how all of it fits together. Our evening closes with shared prayer requests or answers, followed by a time of praying together.

Cost/Supplies: Bring your Bible. If you don’t have one and need one, contact [email protected]
