Located in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the capital and the largest city of the
Mexican southeast state of Chiapas. It is the only metropolitan area
and the most developed and populated in that area of Mexico
Anchored by Liverpool, Sam’s, C&A, a Hotel and 8 screen movie
theater, this fashion mall will have 114 tenants. With an expected
traffic of 9 Million people, this mall promises to be the capital of
fashion in the state of Chiapas.
Stantec Boulder was responsible for the master plan, architectural,
design, interior design, signage and wayfinding and FF&A program.
The project is located in one of the most culturally rich indigenous
populations in Mexico. The project celebrates this heritage by
weaving intricate textile pattern designs in the tradition of colored
yarn known as a brocade, into the facades and interior murals of
the project. It is designed to be a fine balance between history and
prophecy.
