From the Principal’s Desk

Dear Partin Families,

We just completed the first trimester of school, and our 2015-2016 school year is off to a great start. It is my pleasure

to be the principal of over 750 students. I love seeing so many parents visiting our school for special events and volunteering

on our campus. The first report card was sent home on November 17. I hope you reviewed this with your child. Praise and en-

courage your child when meeting your expectations and develop goals for areas that need improvement. Our students are

setting and tracking their own growth in their data notebooks, and all grade levels will host a data sharing event. Fifth grade will

be hosting their data sharing on December 15 at 1:30 p.m. Making your child's education a priority is greatly appreciated by the

staff and me.

The holiday season is upon us, and I would like to wish you the best now and in the year ahead. Remember to spend

quality time to reconnect and relax with those who are truly meaningful in your life. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy

winter break. Classes will resume on January 4. Thank you for your continued support and involvement at Partin Elementary.

Sincerely,

Nancy Urban

Annual Student Art Festival.

Celebrating All-Star Student Success

A.C.E.S. Lunch for November

The following students have shown that All-Star Character Equals Success! Each month, teachers nominate students for ex-hibiting impressive character traits. Of these students, two from each grade level are randomly picked to have a special lunch with the principal, assistant principal, and guidance counselor. This year, Papa Murphy’s generously supplied us with pizzas for these lunches and our Partin Restaurant provided the students with cookies. Thanks to those great establishments for supporting this program and to the students for their great efforts!
