Admission requirements, for master programs, for EU, EEA country
and the Swiss Confederation candidates
The citizen of EU, EEA country and the Swiss Confederation apply for admission
under the same conditions, including in terms of tuition fees, as the Romanian citizens.
For other information regarding admission, the necessary documents, fees, you
can contact the faculty and you can visit their website.
In addition, candidates from EU, EEA country and the Swiss Confederation will
present for admission:
1.the certificate of recognition of studies: https://www.cnred.edu.ro/ro/recunoastere-studii-cetateni-europeni-admitere-master-doctorat-DPPD-in-Romania
2.the language certificate

Documents required
1. Cerere / Application form / Demande
The standard form can be downloaded from the authority website

2. Higher Education Diploma – as a photocopy and as legalized translation into
Romanian;
original diplomas issued in Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Cyprus shall require
the Hague Apostille.
original diplomas issued in countries which have NOT ratified the Hague Apostille
Convention must be superlegalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the
issuing country and by the Embassy/Consular Office of Romania in that country.
3. Transcript of records / Diploma Supplement – as a simple copy, and as legalized
translation;
4. Photocopies of the personal identification documents:
passport – pages 1, 2, 3, 4 or
other identification document;
5. The form "Authorization for verification" – please provide all details required therein.

6. All documents written in languages other than English or French must be translated
into Romanian or English.
7. Photocopy of the proof of payment of the application processing fee:
the receipt / bank transfer form / postal order shall state the name of the
diploma’s holder as person paying, precisely as given on the document;
the application processing fee is 50 RON.
The fee is payable at the CNRED Cashier’s Office (working hours: Mondays to Thursdays,
between 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-15:00) or via bank transfer or postal order, including the
account number given below:

Important:
For the payment to be valid, the postal order or the bank transfer form must include the
IBAN code!
Submitting the application
Files must be submitted to universities.
Processing the application
Applications which do not meet the below criteria are not processed until they are
complete:
to include all documents required in the above list;
to provide all information required in the standard form.
All applications are verified by the CNRED inspectors only in the processing stage.
Notification on the result of the application
All notifications regarding the results of the applications shall be given in writing by
CNRED to the universities involved.
Additional information
The procedure for Recognition of the studies graduated by EU citizens, required for
admission in a Romanian higher education institution at the master / doctorate level can
be consulted in the national electronic Point of Single Contact.
