ADJECTIVESWe use adjectives to say more about a noun or a pronoun.They go before a noun or a pronoun.Adjectives have no plural forms. 3. Adjectives go AFTER (not BEFORE) APPEAR, BE, BECOME, FEEL, GET, LOOK, SEEM, SMELL, SOUND, TASTEYou look tired. That seems easy. 4. Some LY adjectives have no adverbs: FRIENDLY, LIVELY; LOVELY; LONELY; SILLY. in afriendly, silly, lovely way 5. They usually go at the end of a sentence.Never between the verbs and its objectWe form most adverbs by adding LY to the adjective.Irregular: GOOD WELL; HARD HARD; LATE LATE 8. ADJECTIVES and ADVERBSEARLY, LATE, HARD, LOUD, FAST, DAILY, HIGH, LOW, RIGHT, WRONG, WEEKLY, MONTHLY can be adjectivesand adverbs. I always catch the earlytrain. We got up early. 9.
