ONE of God’s expectations from us, His children, is our fruitfulness. Such is not just an indication, but a strong evidence that

He became our heavenly Father. It also shows that His power and Word are creating an impact in our lives. If our principles, attitudes and lifestyle are not in accordance to His precepts and are not manifesting our salvation, then we are not fruitful Christians. Since God expects us to be victorious and fruitful, He gave us His Word and the church to help us accomplish His purpose for us.

There can be so many evidences of our fruitfulness. One of the best is our spiritual fruits. These are precious souls that are saved through our obedience to God’s Word. We got saved because somebody obeyed God’s command to win a soul, and I believe that every child of God can fulfi ll that, too. There are persons around us that need the Gospel, maybe relatives, friends, classmates, workmates or even strangers that we can win to the Lord. Church would be a more exciting place if people go there and their lives are changed because we have personally led them to the Lord.

To be fruitful is an enjoyable experience but it calls for labor as it is a great responsibility. We thank God for a church that preaches the truth and makes our journey toward heaven more exciting. Let us strive to be fruitful for His glory!
