ACR Mission• To serve patients and society by maximizing the value of radiology,

radiation oncology, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine and medical physics by– Advancing the science of radiology– Improving the quality of patient care– Positively influencing the socio-economics of the practice of

radiology– Providing continuing education for radiology and allied health

professions– Conducting research for the future of radiology

Who is the ACR?• The ACR is over 34,000 radiologists, radiation oncologists,

interventional radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and medical physicists– This includes approximately 5,000 residents and fellows as members in-

training

• The ACR is over 400 professional staff members in Reston, Va., Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, Pa., and Silver Spring Md.

• The ACR is over one thousand volunteers donating their time and talents
