Hi, my name is Jagad. I’m from Indonesia, I lived in Yogyakarta Special Region and I’m studying at UGM, and I

took Architecture Bachelor program.

This is my first post on issuu.com. Well I doing this because this is part of requirement for the final exam. So at

this first post. I will put on some my portfolio from last year when I’m studying Architecture.

First thing first, I will put my personal data in this opening part.

I think that enough for the formal information. For other thing, my hobby is about art. Including music, fine

art, and other kind of art that enjoyable and fun to learn.

Ok, enough for the introduce part. Its time for the portfolio, because it’s the main part. Hehehe

BASIC DRAWING TECHNIQUE (Rupa Dasar)

This is one of my favorite subject. Hehe.

#1 This drawing using pencil technique for the execution. I do this drawing by live sketch. All of my friend also

drawing the same object, but the angle is different each person, its depending on his/her likeness. Its take a

long time to finish this drawing, so I do the important part from the drawing by live sketching and then the

finishing part at home.

#2 This drawing also using pencil technique. This time the object is the GSP, its located at the center of UGM

area. This building is huge. Its hard to concentrate to draw this building because the spot where I sit is getting

a direct sunlight wich is so hot when the daylight.

#3 This drawing using a pen technique. I using snowman drawing pen becaouse it’s the most affordable and

most used drawingpen. There are 2 step when drawing using pen technique. The first step is using the pencil

to to the rough sketch, itu just fot the basic shape. And then after the rough sketch is done its time for the

second step. The secnd step is finishing by override the line from roughsketch into final lineart, and then the

rendering step is also using drawing pen. And that is how I done the drawing. But for some expert, they don’t

need the first step, they will go straight to the second step, by using drawing pen only.

#4 This drawing is also using pen technique, it took place at Yogyakarta Palace (Keraton Yogyakarta).

#5 Well, this drawing is using pencil color technique. For me, its hard to get done, its took more time than the

others. But I still like it even its hard to be done.

#6 I love this. This is my first drawing using a water color technique. I learn how to use water color from my

friend, Bahar and Nafia. At the beginning its hard to adjust the opacity and the pressure but I get used to it

soon. Its fun to drawing using water color, because you can blend many color into one unique color that you

want to create. Before using the water color, I use the pencil to do the rough sketch part.

#7 this is the last drawing for Rupa Dasar Subject. This bulding was the store of one of the most biggest Jogja

branding, yeah its Dagadu store. The store was named Jogjatorium.

Well that all from the Rupa Dasar subject’s portfolio.

MAQUETE (MAKET)

This part I will show you some maket that I’ve made.

#1 This maquette is from shelter for refugees project. We’re all get an assignment to design shelter for

refugees from disaster. I named this design “Omah Tawon”(omah waton = bee’s nest). Well I named it like

that because the basic shape is hexagonal that’s look like a bee’s nest.

#2 This is the pramodel for the design of urban villa. It just a simple maquette to represent the main shape and

mass.

I kind of love this design because its has

a lovely shape and good-looking façade.

I think that’s enough for first part of my portfolio, yeah I know it’s too plain and simple. But hey, I’m planning

to do some more of portfolio which is made with form of a-comic-like-story-telling.
