Welcome ManagersWe encourage you to bring your Studio Manager for valuable training. He or she will be invited to
access everything Academy has to offer— at no additional cost except for
travel and hotel stay.

Special Credit Helps Offset Lodging Expenses
We believe that the training you receive at Merle Norman Academy is priceless. But, we also understand the
importance of maintaining your budget. While we will not have a goody bag at Merle Norman Academy, Home Office is offsetting your lodging expenses.
There is a 3-night minimum stay for each Studio where we have
arranged a rate of $170.00 per night (double occupancy). You will receive $71.00 credit per
room after the event. This brings the cost of your hotel room to only $99.00 per night.* Rooms are
subject to availability and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number of rooms and
this event is expected to sell out, so please book early!
Don’t Delay! Book before March 31!*One credit per guest room, per night for a maximum of 3 nights.
If sharing a room, the credit will be applied to the Merle Norman account of the Studio Owner who is the primary
registrant on the hotel rooming list. All Studio Owners/attendees will need to be registered with the hotel
and on a rooming list. Prices do not include applicable taxes.

Reservation DetailsAll reservations require a one-night deposit
in the form of a credit card guarantee. Credit card deposits will be processed at the time the reservation is made. Written confirmation of the reservation will be sent only if requested at the time when the reservation
is initially made.
- Number of rooms and group rates are subject to availability and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please see the hotel website for hotel cancellation policy.- Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
- Parking at the hotel is available for $25.00 per day, and the valet is $38.00 plus tax for overnight guests.
It is customary to tip valet.
Who’s Eligible to Attend?
Studio Owners, spouses, and Studio Managers are eligible to attend. Your Studio
Manager may not invite his/her spouse.

You may also mail the enclosed Registration Card or fax it to
(310) 337-2439. Every attendee will need his/her hotel confirmation and must be on the
rooming list in order to register for Academy with Home Office. No exceptions.
Upon receipt of your registration, the Meetings & Travel Department will email/mail a Confirmation/Admission Ticket
to you. Each delegate (including spouses and Managers) must personally present his or her own Confirmation/Admission
Ticket and a valid picture ID at the Academy Registration Desk to receive a Name Badge and Packet.

Cancellation PolicyIf you have registered for Merle Norman
Academy and are unable to attend, you must notify the Meetings & Travel Department in writing via MN
Connections or fax to (310) 337-2439 by Friday, April 7. Cancellations received after Friday, April 7, are subject
to a cancellation fee of $280.00 per person.
Pre-Register for Seminars Discover new techniques and new strategies with top-
tier training! Pre-registration on MN Connections is required for each seminar. Seminar details arriving
soon via eNews.
Limited Availability
1. Registration will be available on the first-come, first-served basis, so you’ll want to book
as soon as we make the announcement!
2. There will be a minimum of registrants for each seminar.
3. Dates and times are subject to change as we finalize guest speaker engagements.
Academy Dress Code Home Office strongly urges you to adhere
to the following dress code: Seminars: Business casual attire accepted. No tank
tops, beach attire, flip-flops or torn jeans at any time.
Final Banquet: Evening cocktail attire.
No Children Allowed
Merle Norman Academy has been designed to provide all Studio Owners with the
opportunity to obtain the greatest value from their attendance. Studio Owners have indicated that children
are a disruption to the business process. As a result, children are not permitted at Merle Norman Academy.
If you wish to have your children on your trip, you are urged to have them join you either before or after the scheduled
dates for Merle Norman Academy. Your cooperation is expected, so please be considerate of fellow Studio Owners.
