ABSTRACT Achiving teenant development (6-12 years old) is according to parent attention, educating and taking care of them do that children growth and development work so, well based on their age. However, children in reformatory are keep on eye by us rarelly. Children who haven’t had parent are going to have a problem on their growth and development because the children feel n one taking care of them as their parent do. The reasearch is descriptive analitic with cross sectional approacing. 34 samples is needed to take are total sampling. Loosing the parents are instrument, children growth and development are measured by filling quisionnaire, gaugae and weighing machine. The data analysis is done by univariat and bivariat (using chi- square α = 0.05 test). The result of the test shows that 22 respondents (64.7%) with positive loosing respon. The result of assessing children development shows 18 respondent (52.9%) or more than a half of them have a good develompment. The assesment of children growing shows 21 respondent (61.8%) have a normal growth (BMI). The statistic test result can be known from p value = 0.0007 with α 0.05 precision. For the result, HO is unceptable so there is a conjnection between getting lost and developing (BMI) in Kosgoro reformatory Bogor. The reasearch expectation result is became the information for its institution in order to build up better health service and can be useful as an idea for better chilfdren development and growth.
