ABOUT THE CENTRE

The Wales Millennium Centre was created as a stage for Wales, to reflect the spirit of a nation and become a home for the performing arts.

In the heart of Cardiff Bay, the Centre is currently one of the UK’s top cultural tourist attractions and since opening in 2004 we have welcomed over 19 million visitors through our doors, over 4 million theatre attendees and inspired over 300,000 people through our Creative Learning programme.

Our vision is to inspire our nation, impress the world, and we will achieve this by creating inspirational and life changing experiences that broaden horizons. We aim to bring the best creative work from all over the world and create productions which nurture and celebrate Welsh talent. We also offer inclusive opportunities for everyone to become involved and enjoy the arts. It also goes without saying that we want everyone to feel at home here; to be inspired and captivated by the magic of a shared live experience.

Our vision is ambitious, and by helping us achieve this you will be a part of something that’s fun, creative and most definitely special. We strive to be a great place to work, and a place where everyone feels valued, supported and motivated to help to make a difference to people’s lives. We don’t just work together, we plan and make decisions together.
