Greetings, Brothers. It is my pleasure to introduce to you the very first “Midwest Digest”. In an effort to encourage inter-chapter collaboration and increase transparency between Midwest chapters on each others’ events, this monthly newsletter aims to give a snapshot into our region throughout the academic year. Chapter Spotlight: Theta
The Theta Chapter has had an eventful summer and fall thus far! • Two collegiate Brothers and one alumni/advisor Brother
attended Grand Council this past summer. • The Chapter has held 3 candidate recruitment events: an ice
cream social and a barbecue at the Theta House, and a night of bowling and board games at UMN's student union.
• Twenty-five Brothers were at the Minnesota State Fair, giving flu shots and taking blood pressure. The chapter has an ongoing partnership with SupervaluCub Pharmacies that enables them to do this each year, and Theta Brothers look forward to using this relationship to increase their presence in the community!
This year, there will be 23 candidates, who were pinned on 9/15/17. The Theta Chapter is strong again this year!
