AP Human Geography with English 1 honors

In order to be recommended to take AP Human Geography in 9th grade, students

must also be recommended for English 1 Honors by their 8th grade Language

Arts and Social Studies teachers. This is a college level course; students should

have strong reading skills and be prepared to spend a minimum of 2 hours per

night on reading, studying, and homework.

Attention:

All students will be enrolled in 8 credits. If students do not select

enough courses, the LMHS Guidance Department will make the final

selections. Students will be placed in Intensive Reading based on FCAT scores as required by the State of

Florida.
