PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE It was great to see so many smiling faces as we returned to the busiest term of the year. It is set to be action

packed with upcoming events such as our whole school gymnastics program, STEM for TEN for our Stage 2 and

3 students, Chords Festival, School Spectacular and welcoming our new kindergarten students and farewelling

our Year 6 students. Please keep an eye on the important dates.

We will welcome our new kindergarten students next week to their first orientation sessions. It is such a special time for the students and their families. Our new and existing parents will attend an information session on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. We will officially welcome them to our school community early in Term 1. We have had a number of staff changes at the end of last term. Ms Moore is continuing at Wagga District Office for the remainder of the year and Miss Hannah Wareing will be teaching Yellow class. We welcome Mrs Librando back from Maternity Leave, she will be teaching two days a week with Mrs Walker on Orange class. Miss Markham will be teaching White class for the remainder of the year and we welcome Ms Michele Nosworthy two days a week as she supports our EALD students. Students are required to wear a hat at school

when outside all year round but emphasis is

placed on this in the hottest times of the

year. This includes before school. Students

without a hat will be asked to play in the

COLA area. Hats can be purchased from the

school office before 9.15am and the uniform

shop on Friday’s from 9 till 9.15am for $5.

I hope you have been encouraging family and

friends to attend P&C’s fundraiser on Friday

night, Bogan Bingo. There are still plenty of

tickets available and all money raised will go

back to buying resources and assisting the

students at NWPS. It is guaranteed to be a

fun and entertaining night out.
