Marriage – Notify Priest six months prior. Attend approved marriage preparation program. Finalize date.

Anointing – Whenever you or a family member is seriously ill or hospitalized. Please note that hospitals do not give out patient names or religion. The sick person or the family must contact the parish office.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Every month has a special devotion. June’s

was for the Sacred Heart of Jesus with the

Mass for the Sacred Heart celebrated on the

19th. July is a month dedicated to the

Precious Blood of Our Lord. The traditional

calendar has it on July 1st. The new calendar

removed it in 1969.

Since we recently celebrated Corpus Christi (the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Our Lord) let’s recall this greatest miracle of Jesus. He has been changing bread and wine into his Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity for 2,000 years and not only in one place but all over the world!

In this month of July, dedicated to the Precious Blood of Our Lord, we can show devotion by having an active faith, being free of mortal sin and having an ardent love for Jesus.

Go to confession this month. Even if you

don’t have mortal sins Jesus wants to give

you grace to grow in holiness and avoid evil.

Ignite an ardent love by coming to Eucharistic adoration (Monday 6-7 PM and Thursday 7-8 PM). Even if you don’t stay for the whole hour you can show devotion by being in his presence.

Jesus poured out his Precious Blood for each

of us, to the last drop. Have faith! Be

pure! Have an ardent love for him who loves

us so much.
