Goals of a Successful Sound System

1.

Volume – audience able to hear, even distribution, control2.  Quality – input signal identical to output signal

3.  Operation – easy to use (actor-proof)

4.  Dependability – reliable, works the same every time

5.  Flexibility

•  Input – ability to use multiple sources

•  Internal – ability to manipulate the signal

•  Output – ability to output to multiple speakers

•  Adaptability – ability to alter system to fit multiple uses
