Goals of a Successful Sound System
1.
Volume – audience able to hear, even distribution, control2. Quality – input signal identical to output signal
3. Operation – easy to use (actor-proof)
4. Dependability – reliable, works the same every time
5. Flexibility
• Input – ability to use multiple sources
• Internal – ability to manipulate the signal
• Output – ability to output to multiple speakers
• Adaptability – ability to alter system to fit multiple uses
